To the editor:

The Newburyport Lions Club would like to thank all those who participated in the annual trivia contest to support local charities. We would especially like to thank the Salvation Army for all their help and the following for their contributions: Starboard Galley, Not Your Average Joe’s, Mission Oak, Port City Sandwich, Michael’s Harborside, Black Cow, Oregano’s and Dale Spaulding. The team Kartiac Kids took first place, Institution for Savings took second followed by the Salvation Army in third place.
