Thanks for making Homecoming a wonderful week

To the editor:

What a wonderful week Yankee Homecoming 2013 the “Legends through the Years” was.

The weeks before Yankee Homecoming, I remember thinking to myself that it’s only weeks away after a year of planning, I can’t believe it was finally here and now I can’t believe it’s over.

I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the community come together and celebrate. There are so many people who took the time and energy to make this year’s celebration so memorable.

I would like to thank the all the sponsors, the volunteers, especially the event chairmen, the Yankee Homecoming board of directors and the city officials. I couldn’t have done it without you, your diligence, organization and hard work paid off to make each event run smoothly and be extremely successful.

Lastly, thank you to all who attended this year’s Yankee Homecoming. It was an experience of a lifetime and I would not have missed it for the world.

Tammy Jennings

General Chairman 2013
