---- — To the editor:
We have lost an exemplary good woman, Virginia Capolupo, a kind-hearted person I will always think of and admire from all I learned from her grace, her poise, her selflessness of character of doing the right thing quietly.
I remember from years ago when I was trying to get on to work with her husband’s large company, I knew she was special, for she did not know me, but as I sat around waiting nervously for my interview with her husband, Richard, she broke conversation to give me advice about how to get on with his crew.
As I think back upon my getting closer to her family and friends, I now realize how strong and tenacious she was in her matriarchal devotion to family and friends. A critical lesson learned here.
I can only pray my younger family members will aspire to be like Ginny, as I try to do every day.
In closing, I wish to say I am proud to have known Ginny, her husband Richard and the whole family Capolupo for all they do for our community unbeknownst to others, but I do.
She will be missed by me and everyone she touched. Rest in peace.
