Yoga classes donate $535 to help typhoon victims

To the editor:

I’m writing to express my sincere gratitude. Thank you for including the event information in a recent paper. With your help, Buddhaful Souls Yoga Studio was able to raise $535 for the American Red Cross Relief Fund for the Philippines. It’s incredible to see our community come together and open their hearts to help others. Both yoga classes were by donation only. I helped the children at the Family Yoga class understand what happened in the Philippines and how we were helping. From sun salutations to meditation, the theme of being connected to others was clear. There was a lot of love shining from my little studio in Rowley today! Again, thank you, Daily News for helping us get the word out.
