Best wishes to retired town clerk

To the editor:

I would like to offer of a kind, cool, good-hearted woman, “my other girlfriend,” this being retiring Town of Salisbury clerk, Wilma Mahoney McDonald, who in the many times I’ve been in our Town Hall throughout the years to conduct business has always given me a helping hand. She would tell me, you’ve got to go see Harold Congdon, for he knows everything about conservation issues or good advice of get those cars out of there! They make the town look shabby, advice I will now take to heart asap. Wilma, she is a person who has made our little town a much better place to live in. I’ve been enriched by her dialogues, am proud to know her, so if you see her, thank her for all her years of public service. I pray she enjoys every day of her retirement.
