From mishap to miracle

To the editor:

Thank you so much, Daily News, for helping me recover the antique crock recently inherited by my niece from her mother’s estate. I had mistakenly sold it on the day of the PIBS Yard Sale in May.

The article was promptly picked up by WBZ-AM radio station that promptly aired it. The woman, from Gloucester, who purchased it heard the broadcast!

After WBZ put us in touch with one another, this lovely woman promptly returned it, would hear nothing of reimbursement and we enjoyed a visit complete with tears and hugs.

Life is good and miracles do happen. In this case, because of your fine writers and your staff who were so willing to tell my story.
