Vigil promotes gun safety laws

To the editor:

I would like to spread the word about a vigil that occurs every Monday in Amesbury. We, a group of concerned citizens, vigil to promote gun safety laws. We meet at noon for one hour at the corner of Main and Sparhawk streets near the gazebo in downtown Amesbury. We meet because we believe the gun laws of this country support the National Rifle Association, and we would like the laws changed to protect the citizens of this country, not the industry of the NRA.
