Brown School decision a bad one

To the editor:

A recent article in The Daily News talking about saving the Brown School playground made me realize it’s not the playground we’re losing, but the incredibly dumb decision of the city to abandon a well-built, functioning elementary school — and then to build another school to replace it at the tremendous taxpayers’ expense.

What we should do is dump the bureaucrats who proposed this and continue to use the school and facilities we have already paid for. It’s not too late to reverse what I think is a bad decision.
