God's love conquers all

To the editor:

There is something we all can do.

At this time of such overwhelming sadness in our land, let us remember that two thousand years ago God gave to us his child who in turn was sacrificed so that we could learn to live in his light and share kindness and love with our fellow man.

When you feel angry or just want to be alone and cry, reach out to others and know that love is the all-conquering force in this world.

With my heartfelt wishes to you at Christmas and the hope for a better new year.
