Praise for Merrimac EMTs

To the editor:

In November, after sustaining a severe fall, it was necessary to call the Merrimac EMTs for transportation to the Anna Jaques hospital in Newburyport. Immediately, the unit responded with complete knowledge and understanding of my injury. They were very professional and compassionate and went right to work, making me feel very comfortable and assured of their ability. This was a harrowing experience for me, made much less traumatic by their obvious great training experience. They truly are a great, special, caring, organized unit.

I wish to publicly thank them for their quick response and rapport with their clients. So thanks to every EMT unit in this vicinity for their devotion in caring for others. If you meet them (or just see them around) stop and say “thanks”!
