Hunt is a veteran's veteran

To the editor:

For many years now I, along with other veterans, have had the honor to be part of many activities organized for veterans in our area. On many occasions I have requested help and support from Kevin Hunt, the Veterans Service officer for the Newburyport area, for the 101st Airborne Division’s Massachusetts Special Events here on the North Shore area of Massachusetts. Kevin has always been available and helpful in any and every way he can.

Kevin is truly a veteran’s veteran. He has done, and continues to do, so much for those veterans in need and for the families of those who have not returned to us.

I have been active in military affairs since I was discharged from the Army in 1959 and have met many VSO’s (Veterans Service Officers) in those 50-plus years. Kevin tops them all. This area’s veterans and residents should be proud of a man who has given so much to so many. Thank you, Kevin. You are the best!
