Obama not there for veterans' families

To the editor:

President Obama has taken steps to give business waivers on Obamacare and others. He uses executive orders to create his own laws, but when it came down to deceased veterans benefits for the veterans’ families, our president Barack Obama did not move one inch.

He didn’t use executive orders, he didn’t waive the shutdown rules, he left it out there to blame Congress, controlled by the Republicans.

What a leader. He uses deceased veterans for political gain, casting aside moral and ethical principles for personal gain.

This nation deserves better. Where was President Obama for these veterans’ families?
