To the editor:
The Friends of the Salisbury Public Library's fourth annual book and bake sale was held last weekend. Each year, the sale becomes more popular and more successful. At lot of planning and heavy lifting goes into a book sale and a lot of volunteers are needed to make it a success. We'd like to thank the following for their efforts and contributions:
Dianne and Lou Masiello, Karen Parent, Jeannette and Peter Lazaras, Gretchen Grasso, Joe and Eric Stucker, Denny Bell, Erica Hixon, Mary Kirk's group of young volunteers, Archie Archambault, Ted Kyrios, Vera and George, as well as all of the volunteers, bakers and everyone who made a purchase. We also want to thank Graf Brothers, Wayne Capolupo of SPS, the Institution for Savings, Dunkin Donuts, Linda McElwaney, the Lighthouse Thrift Store and the WIT group for all their generous help. Our board of directors worked tirelessly for months to make this a great success.
In these tough financial times, community support is essential. Thanks so much for helping to make our sale so successful.
Chairwoman, The Friends of the Salisbury Public Library
