Rachel MacIsaac and Christopher Myers were married on Aug. 24, 2008 in an outdoor ceremony on Cape Cod's Buzzards Bay by Reverend Nickolas Boas. The reception immediately followed at The Beachmoor Restaurant in Buzzards Bay.
Rachel is the daughter of Dean and Cindy MacIsaac of Newburyport. Christopher is the son of Sandy Myers and Ken Myers of Fort Worth Texas. Rachel was given in marriage by her father Dean MacIsaac, Sr.
The bridesmaids were sister-in-law, Christina Myers of Fort Worth, and friend, Nikki Scheidt of Astoria, N.Y. and her bridesman was friend, Leigh Thompson of Cardiff, Wales. The groomsmen were the groom's brother, Michael Myers and friend, Chad Jung both of Fort Worth, and Jonnie James of Cromer, England. Also participating in the ceremony were Rachel's brothers, Sean and Dean Jr. MacIsaac and nieces and nephew Ashleigh, Daniel, Victoria, Amanda and Kayla MacIsaac all of Plymouth, as well as the groom's sister, Rebecca Myers of Fort Worth.
Rachel is a graduate of Newburyport High School as well as The University of the Arts in Philadelphia where she received a BFA in Dance Education. Christopher is a graduate of Paschal High School in Fort Worth, TX as well as Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas where he received a BA in Theatre.
After a honeymoon in Kauai, Hawaii the couple returned to Astoria where they reside and work as performing artists.
