Museum of Science teacher educator Lesley Kennedy of Newburyport said she thought it would be fun to use bread to teach bioengineering. With the assistance of scientists at Genzyme, Kennedy has developed a workshop titled "Bread, Cells and Industry," which she presented last weekend to middle school science teachers.
