If so, plan on making the 6:30 p.m., Jan. 30, presentation about "Digging Up the Departed." The program, sponsored by the Friends of the Salisbury Public Library, will feature Marcia Melnyk, a professional genealogist who will discuss strategies for beginners, as well as answer questions for those who have begun the process of outlining their family histories. The event is free, sponsored in part by a grant from the Massachusetts Cultural Council, and takes place at Salisbury's Hilton Senior Center on Lafayette Road, right beside the fire station. The Prescription Advantage program is being adjusted due to the current economic circumstances. Those with questions concerning Prescription Advantage or who have received a plan change letter recently should attend the council's upcoming Prescription Advantage Forum on Thursday, Jan. 22, at noon at the Hilton Senior Center. Call to reserve a SHINE counselor Thursdays, Jan. 15 and Jan. 22. The SHINE counselor ensures access to accurate, unbiased and up-to-date information about health care options and health insurance needs. The council's SHINE counselor can help process health benefit claims and complete applications. SHINE helps seniors understand Medicare benefits and other health insurance options. Call to schedule a private appointment. Intermediate Computer Training Wednesdays, 8:30 a.m. to noon. Classes begin Jan. 14 and run through April 14. Microsoft Word and/or Excel will be offered depending on interest. Course is focused on the basic application; it is preferred that applicants have had some previous basic training or at least be familiar with basic computer functions. Instructor is Tom Keane. Class size limited; Registration required. Shape Up at the Salisbury COA Hilton Center, 42 Lafayette Road. REIKI: Mondays, 10 to 11 a.m. and Thursdays 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Learn Reiki techniques for stress reduction. Exercise to Music: Tuesdays, 9 to 10 a.m., cardio and strength conditioning. Gentle Stretching: Tuesdays, 10:15 to 11:15 a.m., tone up mind, body and spirit. Senior Fitness: Wednesdays, 10:15 until 11.
