APPROVED
At the request of the Fire Department, and after a review of all costs involved, raising the ambulance billing rate of a Basic Life Support run to $544.68 (40 percent over the amount allowable by Medicare).
Request from Highway Foreman Tom Barry to overspend the snow and washout line item from the FY 2009 budget not to exceed $40,000.
Waive gas permit in the amount of $110 for work at the Sweetsir School.
Sign a two-year renewal proposal from the town's insurer, Massachusetts Interlocal Insurance Association.
At the request of Town Clerk Pat True, increase the following fees: vital records certificates from $5 to $10, initial business certificates from $20 to $25, renewals of business certificates from $5 to $10, marriage licenses from $15 to $25. The vote was 2-1 with Carol Traynor and Linda Seymour in favor and Earl Baumgardner opposed.
AGREED
At the request of True, selectmen will appoint a poll constable for town elections; True will draft a notice seeking interested candidates.
