Looking to get rid of those already read books or used CDs, DVDs and videos and audio books that clutter your shelves?

If so, the Salisbury Parent Teacher Association can turn those items into cash to help Salisbury Elementary School students. The PTA has a drop-off donation container at the Boys and Girls Club for residents, businesses and others who wish to contribute books they no longer use. The donation raises money the PTA will use to fund academic enrichment programs, field trips, classroom supplies, student publications, books and materials for the school library, printers and other equipment for the school and more for the students of Salisbury Elementary School.

Drop donations off in the gray book donation container, distinguished by its lively purple and yellow signs, which is located in the parking lot of the Salisbury Boys and Girls Club at 18 Maple St. Donations may be made at any time.

In addition to helping raise money, donated goods will be used in great ways: They could be donated to schools, libraries and other groups in need, sent overseas to the troops, given to teachers for their classrooms, or sold in book sales and online.

For more information visit www.GotBooks.com or call 978-396-6026.
