The business links between Newburyport and Portsmouth, N.H., keep getting stronger.
The latest cross-pollination involves the Newburyport-based Agave Mexican Bistro, which plans to open a new location in downtown Portsmouth. The location of the new Agave will be on State Street — the same street it's located on in Newburyport. Agave plans to have two floors with four fireplaces at its Portsmouth location.
Agave is hardly the first business to have outlets in both cities. Others include Kaya jewelers, J.L. Coombs and Ganesh Imports.
