Four arrested in Salisbury drug bust

SALISBURY — Four Lawrence men were arrested Wednesday night after allegedly selling crack to an undercover officer, according to police reports.

Salisbury police, working with the Essex County Drug Task Force, arranged to make the buy on Broadway Wednesday night. About 7:30 p.m., a black Lincoln containing four men pulled up to the arranged spot, and one of the men gave the undercover officer $500 worth of crack cocaine, according to police reports. After the car pulled away, it was immediately stopped by Salisbury police.

Arrested and charged with possession of a class B substance with intent to distribute were: Jonathan Galindo, 21, 276 Lawrence St., Lawrence; Deivi Brea, 18, 55 Willow St., Lawrence; Raynel Hilario, 20, 5 Folton St., Lawrence; and Jonas Rodriguez, 18, 145 High St., Lawrence. Galindo was also charged with possession of a class D substance. All four were arraigned yesterday in Newburyport District Court and held on $10,000 cash bail. The men have a pretrial hearing on May 30.
