NEWBURYPORT: The following cases were recorded on Wednesday, May 7, in Newburyport District Court, with Judge Peter Doyle presiding over the jury-waived cases:

Michael Stretton, 30, 4 West St., Melrose; domestic assault and battery, continued without a finding for one year, $50 Victim Witness Assistance Fund (VWF) (Newburyport).

Derek Michaud, 24, 34 Rabbit Road, Salisbury; possession of a class B substance with intent to distribute, guilty, one year in the house of correction, 33 days credited; three counts possession of a class B substance, guilty, one year in the house of correction, concurrent with above; two counts of possession of a class E substance, guilty, six months in the house of correction, concurrent with above; possession of a class D substance, guilty, six months in the house of correction, concurrent with above; possession of a counterfeit note, guilty, one year in the house of correction, concurrent with above; conspiracy to violate drug laws, guilty, six months in the house of correction, concurrent with above (Salisbury).

Joshua Pratt, 23, 9 Brookline Ave., Lynn; driving while under the influence of alcohol, continued without a finding for one year, 45-day loss of license, Alcohol and Substance Abuse Program (ASAP), $250 Head Injury fee, $250 OUI fee, $50 OUI Victims fee, $50 VWF; driving without a license, continued without a finding for one year; driving without registration, continued without a finding for one year; driving without insurance, continued without a finding for one year; marked lanes violation, responsible, filed (Newbury)

Brian Morton, 27, 227 Main St., Plaistow, N.H.; driving while under the influence of drugs, continued without a finding for one year, 45-day loss of license, ASAP, $250 Head Injury fee, $250 OUI fee, $50 OUI Victims fee, $50 VWF; driving without a license, continued without a finding for one year; marked lanes violation, responsible, filed; driving without a license, dismissed on payment of $100 court costs and $50 VWF (West Newbury, Rowley).

NEWBURYPORT: The following cases were recorded on Thursday, May 8, in Newburyport District Court, with Judge Peter Doyle presiding over the jury-waived cases:

William Gates Jr., 32, 32 Hunt St., Beverly; failure to attend jury duty, dismissed on payment of $200 court costs and $50 VWF (Newburyport).

Patrick Bull, 40, 56 Haverhill St., Haverhill; driving while under the influence of alcohol, continued without a finding for one year, 45-day loss of license, ASAP, $250 Head Injury fee, $250 OUI fee, $50 OUI Victims fee, $50 VWF; speeding, not responsible; marked lanes violation, not responsible (West Newbury).

Amanda Lebel, 24, 15 Barnard Road, Lawrence; possession of a class B substance with intent to distribute, continued without a finding for 18 months, $50 VWF; reckless endangerment of a child, dismissed (Salisbury)

The following case was recorded on Thursday, May 8, in Newburyport District Court, with Judge Richard Mori presiding over the jury-waived case:

Leslie Moran, 44, 28 East Main St., Haverhill; driving while under the influence of alcohol, continued without a finding for one year, 45-day loss of license, ASAP, $250 Head Injury fee, $250 OUI fee, $50 OUI Victims fee, $50 VWF; marked lanes violation, not responsible, driving without a license in possession, not responsible (Newburyport).
