NEWBURYPORT: The following cases were recorded on Tuesday, June 9, in Newburyport District Court.

Judge Allen Swan presided over the following jury-waived cases:

Joseph M. Kezer, 18, 30 Paige Farm Road, Amesbury; person under 21 in possession of alcohol, continued without finding for three months, sentenced to three months' probation, ordered to pay $50 costs, $50 to the state Victim/Witness Fund (Amesbury).

Brian R. Kaye, 19, 7 Larson Drive, Hampstead, N.H.; person under 21 in possession of alcohol, continued without finding for six months, sentenced to six months' probation, ordered to pay $50 costs, $50 to the VWF; having an open container of alcohol in a vehicle, found responsible, ordered to pay $100 assessment; speeding, found responsible, filed (Salisbury).

Kyle Callaway, 19, 6 Ashford St., Hampstead, N.H.; person under 21 in possession of alcohol, continued without finding for six months, sentenced to six months' probation, ordered to pay $50 costs, $50 to the VWF; having an open container of alcohol in a vehicle, found responsible, ordered to pay $100 assessment (Salisbury).

Jordyn K. Magowan, 18, 14 Hillside Ave., Amesbury; driving without a license, found not responsible; person under 21 in possession of alcohol, continued without finding for three months, sentenced to three months' probation, ordered to pay $50 costs, $50 to the VWF; refusing to identify self, continued without finding for three months, sentenced to three months' probation (Amesbury).

William N. Glynn, 20, 70 Main St., Byfield; possession of marijuana, dismissed, ordered to pay $300 costs, $50 to the state VWF (Newbury).

Brett W. Straub, 20, 6 Main St., Byfield; possession of marijuana, dismissed, ordered to pay $300 costs, $50 to the VWF (Newbury).

John F. Roach, 21, 197 High St., Unit 3A, Ipswich; possession of marijuana, dismissed, ordered to pay $300 costs, $50 for the VWF (Newbury).

Joshua P. Arakelian, 35, 4 Seven Star Road, Groveland; driving while under the influence of alcohol, continued without finding for one year. sentenced to one year's probation, ordered to attend Alcohol Safety Awareness Program, license suspended for 45 days, ordered to pay $250 DUI fee, $250 to the Head Injury Fund, $50 DUI victim's assessment, $50 to the VWF; speeding, found responsible, filed (West Newbury).

Lawrence Decosta, 50, 54 Haverhill St., Rowley; threatening to commit a crime, found guilty, sentenced to six months in the house of correction, 30 days to be served (deemed served), balance suspended for one year, one year's probation, ordered to get anger management counseling, stay away from victim, pay $50 to the VWF; intimidating a witness, found guilty, sentenced to one year's probation; malicious destruction of property valued at $250 or less, found guilty, sentenced to one year's probation, restitution to be determined (Rowley).

Jenna M. McLaughlin, 20, 102 Church St., Merrimac; DUI, continued without finding for one year, sentenced to one year's probation, ordered to attend ASAP, license suspended for 210 days, ordered to pay $250 DUI fee, $250 to the HIF, $50 DUI victim's assessment, $50 to the VWF; reckless driving, dismissed (Merrimac).

Jonathan Duval, 18, 12 Daniel Court, Salisbury; breaking and entering in the daytime to commit a felony, sentenced to six months' pretrial probation, ordered to stay away from victim; larceny of property valued at more than $250, sentenced to six months' pretrial probation, ordered to stay away from victim; receiving stolen property valued at more than $250, sentenced to six months' pretrial probation, ordered to stay away from victim (Salisbury).

Courtney Nye, 17, 98 Essex St., Bangor, Maine; trafficking in cocaine, not prosecuted (State).

Assistant Clerk/Magistrate Rachel Hickey presided over the following jury-waived case:

Sergio V. Santos, 31, 33 Margin St., Peabody; driving without a license, dismissed, ordered to pay $200 costs, $50 for the VWF; equipment violation, found responsible, filed (Rowley).
