NEWBURYPORT

The following items were recorded in the log of the Newburyport police:

Ruth Dashevsky, 17, 2 Storeybrooke Drive, Newburyport, was arrested Saturday at 5:10 p.m. and charged with shoplifting by concealing merchandise. Officers Michael McGinnis and Ronald Senter made the arrest at Walgreens on Storey Avenue.

Tiarra Green, 18, 52 Macy St., Amesbury, was arrested Saturday at 5:10 p.m. and charged with shoplifting by concealing merchandise. Officers McGinnis and Senter made the arrest at Walgreens.

Victoria Winter, 29, 128 Old Post Road, Kittery, Maine, was issued a summons Sunday at 12:59 a.m. on charges of speeding and driving with a revoked license. Officer Eric Marshall issued the summons on Storey Avenue.

Clifford M. Spencer, 52, 11 Wright St., Cambridge, was arrested Sunday at 1:06 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol. Officers Charles Vorderis and William Steeves made the arrest on Low Street.

AMESBURY

The following items were recorded in the log of the Amesbury police:

Jimmy E. Smith, 41, 1 Lafayette St., Salisbury, was issued a summons Friday at 6:50 p.m. on charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Officer Steven Reed and Sgt. Kevin Donovan issued the summons on Macy Street.

Maxwell Baker, 18, 1 Brown Ave., Amesbury, was issued a summons Friday at 11:41 p.m. on charges of negligent operation of a motor vehicle. Officer Michael Purvis issued the summons on Market Street.

John D. Dematos, 42, 1 Heartwood St., Methuen, was arrested Saturday at 7:13 p.m. and charged with driving with a suspended license (subsequent offense) and driving an unregistered, uninsured motor vehicle. Officers Thomas Nichols and Raymond Landry made the arrest on Macy Street.

Laura Sue Goros, 48, 820 Lafayette, Road, Hampton, N.H., was arrested Sunday at 1:42 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol (third offense), possession of a class E substance and driving the wrong way on a one-way street. Officers Purvis, Nichols and Denis Champagne made the arrest in Market Square.

SALISBURY

The following items were recorded in the log of the Salisbury police:

Spencer Dayton, 17, 436 Lafayette Road, Hampton, N.H., was arrested Saturday at 7:18 p.m. and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and following too close. Officers Keith Forget and Timothy Hunter made the arrest at 188 Beach Road.

George Marshall, 42, Beach Road, Salisbury, was arrested Sunday at 12:57 a.m. and charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. Officer Timothy Rivet made the arrest on Broadway.

WEST NEWBURY

The following item was recorded in the log of the West Newbury police:

John Simoes, 50, 17 Baldwin Terrace, Groveland, was arrested Saturday at 5:09 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and a marked lanes violation. Officers Barry Coker and Monica Carnes made the arrest on Main Street.

STATE POLICE

The following items were recorded in the log of the state police, Newbury barracks:

Jamie Pointer, 23, 14 Beechstore, Portsmouth, N.H., was arrested Friday at 7:50 a.m. and charged with driving with a suspended license and speeding. Trooper Provost made the arrest in Newburyport.

Ryan Maclean, 19, 26 High St., Newton, was arrested Friday at 11:35 a.m. on a warrant. Trooper Provost made the arrest in Rowley.

Elvis Jimenez Chavez, 47, 555 Hampton Road, Amesbury, was issued a summons Saturday at 1:40 a.m. on charges of driving without a license and driving an unregistered vehicle that was uninsured. Trooper Mcgarry issued the summons in Boxford.

Kent Anderson, 26, 29 Highland Road, Merrimac, was arrested Saturday at 2:09 a.m. on a warrant for driving an unregistered motor vehicle. Trooper Crowley made the arrest in Salisbury.

Noelle Albino, 25, 492 Water St., Wakefield, was issued a summons Saturday at 2:27 a.m. on charges of driving while under the influence of alcohol. Trooper Mcgarry issued the summons in Boxford.

Otis Saporito, 26, 222 Amherst St., Granby was issued a summons Saturday at 8 a.m. on charges of possession of a class A substance and speeding. Trooper Provost issued the summons in Merrimac.

Nicole P. Muise, 34, 5 Pershing Road, Salem, was issued a summons Saturday at 8:30 a.m. on charges of operating to endanger. Trooper Martinelli issued the summons in West Newbury.

Bethany Bryan, 36, 44 New Zealand Road, Seabrook, was issued a summons Saturday at 11:20 a.m. on charges of speeding and driving with a suspended license. Trooper Provost issued the summons in Salisbury.

Jill M. Glencross, 33, 45 Lafayette St., Amesbury, was issued a summons Saturday at 1:55 p.m. on charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and driving an unregistered motor vehicle. Trooper Haynes issued the summons in Salisbury.
