NEWBURYPORT: The following cases were heard in Newburyport District Court on July 2. Judge Allen Swan presided over the following jury-waived trials:

Heidi Ishmael, 30, of 110 Lafayette Road, Apt. 7, Salisbury; disturbing the peace, continued for six months, $100 in court costs, $50 victim-witness assessment (Salisbury).

Sean Jansen, 30, of 73 Ferry Road, Salisbury; driving while under the influence of alcohol, continued for one year, must attend Alcohol Safety Awareness Program, 45-day loss of license, $250 in court costs, $50 victim-witness assessment (State).

Janet M. Jefferson, 49, of 141 Madison Ave., Arlington; forge/misuse of Registry of Motor Vehicles document, guilty, one-year loss of license, $90 victim-witness assessment, $500 fine; allowing unlicensed operation of motor vehicle, guilty; no inspection sticker, not responsible (Newburyport).

Derrick N. Metz, 19, of 1 Elm St., Byfield; possession of a class D substance, continued six months, $50 victim-witness assessment, 10 hours of community service (Newburyport).

Michael Morinico, 24, of 6 Colby, North Billerica; driving while under the influence of alcohol (second offense), guilty, 90 days in the house of correction, suspended for two years of probation, 14-day in-patient program with after care, two-year loss of license, must remain alcohol-free with screens, $50 victim-witness assessment, $250 to Head Injury Fund, $600 fine; driving with suspended license, guilty, one year of probation, marked lanes violation, responsible (Newbury).

Gustavo Sigueriza, 32, of 38 Beacon St., Andover; driving while under the influence of alcohol, continued for one year, alcohol safety program, 45-day loss of license, $250 in court costs, $50 victim-witness assessment; improper turn, responsible (Newburyport).

The following case was heard in Newburyport District Court on July 2. Judge Allen Swan presided over the following jury trial:

Wendy Herald, 49, of 46 Parlott St., Lynn; driving while under the influence of alcohol, jury found not guilty; speeding, responsible, filed, marked lanes violation, not responsible (Newburyport).

Justin Wing, 22, of 186 Riverside Drive, Apt. A2, Auburn, Maine; carrying a dangerous weapon, guilty, six months in house of correction, committed, 7 days of credit; carrying loaded firearm without a Firearms Identification Card, guilty, six months in house of correction, 7 days of credit; possession of a class D drug, continued six months; miscellaneous motor vehicle equipment violation, responsible (State).

John R. Grenier, 35, of 185 Riverside Drive, Auburn, Maine; possession of an unlicensed firearm, dismissed; carrying ammunition, dismissed; possession of a class D substance, continued for six months (State).

NEWBURYPORT: The following cases were heard in Newburyport District Court on July 1. Judge Peter Doyle presided over the following jury-waived trials:

Nicholas Florentino, 25, of 35 Main St., Fremont, N.H; possession of a class D drug, continued six months, $200 in court costs, $50 victim-witness assessment; driving without a license, continued for six months; failure to wear seat belt, not responsible (Newburyport).

Ademeir DeAlmeida, 39, 516 Merrimac St., Newburyport; driving without a license, dismissed, $100 assessment, $50 victim-witness assessment; driving without registration, responsible (Newburyport).

Charles Scheider, 69, of 61 Ledge Road, Ogunquit, Maine; shoplifting, continued for three months, $275 restitution, $50 victim-witness assessment (Rowley).

Adam Ciolek, 17, of 18 Green St., Apt. 7, Ipswich; possession of alcohol by a person under age 21, continued for three months, administrative supervision, no alcohol, $100 fine, $50 victim-witness assessment (Rowley).

Christopher Ledoux, 19, of 1 Colby Ave., Merrimac; possession of alcohol by a person under age 21, continued for three months, $100 in court costs, $50 victim-witness assessment, administrative probation (Merrimac).

Sally Renau, 20, of 323 Main St., West Newbury; possession of alcohol by person under age 21, dismissed at request of state; possession of a class E substance, dismissed at request of state; possession of liquor by a person under age 21, pretrial probation, $50 in court costs, $50 victim-witness assessment (West Newbury).

Erik Gaumont, 23, of 83 Forest St., Salisbury; keeping a noisy and disorderly house, dismissed, $50 in court costs; disturbing the peace, dismissed, $100 in court costs (Salisbury).

Rosemarie Souza, 41, of 4 Lonvale Lane, Apt. A97, Amesbury; driving without a license, guilty, $100 fine, $50 victim-witness assessment (Amesbury).
