NEWBURYPORT

The following items were recorded in the Newburyport police log:

r Leah Olivieri, 19, 8 Drew St., Newburyport, was arrested Sunday at 6:17 p.m. and charged with shoplifting. Officer Michael Wilichoski made the arrest on Storey Avenue.

r Michael Boutchie, 32, 143 Argilla Road, Ipswich, was issued a summons Sunday at 7:15 p.m. for driving without registration and driving without insurance. Officer Dani Michalek issued the summons on Storey Avenue.

r Christine Brown, 45, 35 High St., Newburyport, was issued a summons yesterday at 7 a.m. for driving without a license. Officer William Steeves issued the summons on Storey Avenue.

r Justin Currier, 31, 134 Garden St., Seabrook, was issued a summons yesterday at 7:34 a.m. for driving without a license. Officer Steeves issued the summons on Pond Street.

r Richard Smith, 63, 37 Woodcock Ave., Haverhill, was issued a summons yesterday at 12:43 p.m. for driving without a license. Officer Joshua Tierney issued the summons on Toppans Lane.

r Police placed three people into protective custody overnight.

AMESBURY

The following items were recorded in the Amesbury police log:

r Charles Wright, 20, 91 Friend St., Amesbury, was issued a summons Sunday at 6:03 a.m. for driving without registration and driving without insurance. Officer Kevin Mulrenin issued the summons on Friend Street.

r Hiek Pov, 36, 82 Grand St., Lowell, was issued a summons Sunday at 5:58 p.m. for driving without a license and driving without an inspection sticker. Officer Steven Reed issued the summons on Macy Street.

r Justine Persichetti, 22, 7 Greenleaf Park Drive, Merrimac, was issued a summons Sunday at 10:43 p.m. for driving without registration and driving without insurance. Officer Reed issued the summons on Haverhill Road.

r Joaquin Casado, 19, 8 Porter St., Haverhill, was arrested yesterday at 2:30 a.m. on a warrant. Officer Mulrenin made the arrest on Whitehall Road.

SALISBURY

The following items were recorded in the Salisbury police log:

r Pau Cheney, 37, 530 Bunker Hill Road, Auburn, N.H., was arrested Sunday at 8:22 p.m. and charged with driving without a license and an equipment violation. Officer Bruce Dow made the arrest on Beach Road.

r Christopher Tostenson, 31, 306 Thornton St., Portsmouth, N.H., was arrested Sunday at 10:01 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct and negligent driving. Officers Dow and Steven Sforza made the arrest on Elm Street.

ROWLEY

The following items were recorded in the Rowley police log:

r Ellis Webber, 18, 79 Stetson Ave., Swampscott, was arrested Saturday at 1:52 a.m. and charged with carrying a dangerous weapon. The arrest was made on Haverhill Street.

r Eduard Raptunovich, 18, 54 Lewis Road, Swampscott, was arrested Saturday at 2:31 a.m. and charged with possession of a class D drug, possession of fireworks, driving without a license in possession and a marked lanes violation. The arrest was made on Haverhill Street.

r Jared Wells, 19, 21 Wethersfield St., Rowley, was arrested Sunday at 1:32 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol and failing to stop for a stop sign. The arrest was made on Route 1.

r Michael London, 46, 633 Turnpike St., North Andover, was issued a summons Sunday at 5:19 p.m. for driving to endanger, passing in a no passing zone and speeding. The summons was issued on Haverhill Street.

STATE POLICE

The following items were recorded in the state police log, Newbury barracks:

r Allyssa Josephson, 20, 81 West Main St., Merrimac, was arrested Sunday and charged with underage possession of alcohol and a warrant. Trooper Thomas Canning made the arrest in Merrimac.

r Aaron Smith, 22, 35 Cromwell St., Kittery, Maine, was arrested Sunday and charged with assault and battery on a police officer, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Trooper Canning made the arrest in Newburyport.

r Michael Howard, 19, of Newburyport, was arrested Sunday and charged with disorderly conduct. Lt. Walter Keenan made the arrest in Newburyport.

r Cinnamon Jones, 24, 503 Webster St., Rockland, was issued a summons yesterday at 2:42 p.m. for driving without a license, driving without registration and driving without insurance. Trooper Crowley issued the summons in Boxford.

WEST NEWBURY

The following items were recorded in the West Newbury police log:

r Michelle Mercier, 34, 25 Walker Road, Atkinson, N.H., was arrested Thursday at 4:04 p.m. and charged with possession of a class B substance, driving without a license and driving without insurance. Officer Barry Coker made the arrest on Main Street.

r Lynn Strouth, 36, 85 Arlington St., Haverhill, was issued a summons Friday at 11:19 p.m. for driving without registration and driving without insurance. Officer Coker issued the summons on Main Street.
