NEWBURYPORT

The following items were recorded in the Newburyport police log:

Anthony G. Wainaina, 32, 550 Centre St., Jamaica Plain, was arrested Sunday at 11:17 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol (second offense). Officers Michael Wilichoski and Richard Rocco made the arrest on Route 1.

Elber Huberto DeLeon Merida, 34, 282 Broadway St., Lawrence, was issued a summons yesterday at 5:38 a.m. on charges of driving without a license and speeding in violation of special regulations. Officer William Steeves issued the summons during a motor vehicle stop on Low Street.

SALISBURY

The following items were recorded in the Salisbury police log:

Seth Monkiewice, 25, 1 Sunshine Drive, Kingston, N.H., was arrested on two warrants Sunday at 6:42 p.m. Officer Brian Smith made the arrest on North End Boulevard.

Lisa M. Grampetra, 43, 15 Baily Road, Shrewsbury, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest Sunday at 7:20 p.m. Officers James Leavitt and Daniel McNeil made the arrest at La Chiquita Restaurant, 188 Lafayette Road.

Dennis B. Curley, 20, 1 Arlington St., No. 2, Amesbury, was arrested and charged with driving after license suspension, failing to stop for police, reckless driving, receiving a stolen vehicle, red light violation, marked lanes violation, driving while under the influence of drugs and being a fugitive from justice. The arrest was made by Officer Timothy Hunter on Sunday at 11:26 p.m.

Mitchell D. Potts, 25, 145 Beach Road, No. 12, Salisbury, was arrested and charged with domestic assault and battery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon yesterday at 1:48 a.m. Officers Hunter and McNeil made the arrest at 162 Beach Road.

ROWLEY

The following items were recorded in the Rowley police log:

Evan C. Schwarz, 19, 18 Greentree Lane, Byfield, was arrested Saturday at 1:46 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, possession of liquor by a person under age 21, speeding and failure to stop/yield. The arrest was made on Glen Street.

Marc C. Michallyszyn, 20, 49 Treetop Circle, Marston Mills, was issued a summons Saturday at 7:51 p.m. on charges of reckless driving and speeding. The summons was issued on Main Street.

Thomas F. Forgette, 51, 54 Haverhill St., Rowley, was issued a summons Sunday at 9:14 a.m. on charges of improperly storing a firearm and failure to notify the Registry of Motor Vehicles of name/address change. The summons was issued on Haverhill Street.

WEST NEWBURY

The following items were recorded in the West Newbury police log:

John Gosselin, 45, 170 Lions Mouth Road, Amesbury, was issued a summons Sunday at 4:07 p.m. on charges of driving with revoked registration, driving an uninsured motor vehicle, no inspection sticker and having an open container of alcohol. Officer Barry Coker issued the summons on River Road.
