July 15, 2008 03:41 am Salisbury native Kyle Willitt has had his fair share of photo-fame. After having his photo included in two separate baseball books, Willitt, 20, now has his 11-year-old face blown up on a large banner that is hanging outside the Museum of Science in Boston as part of the "Baseball as America" exhibit. "It's a little shocking," Willitt said. "I wouldn't expect them to use my picture; they could have used anyone's picture." The photo, which depicts Willitt as an 11-year-old Red Sox fan, was first included in Dan Shaughnessy's book "Fenway" as well as a book on baseball produced by the Smithsonian. Now, years after the book fame has blown over, Willitt said that a friend of the family who was visiting the museum spotted the "30-foot" photo and called Willitt's mother right away. Willitt noted that he caught his face again on an HBO documentary, "The Curse of the Bambino," although it was a completely different photo from the one featured in the books and on the banner. "I thought it was going to end with the books," Willitt said, "but you never know."
