The public is invited to an "Early Music Concert" featuring French soprano and soloist Anne Azema and lutenist and director of Boston Camerata Joel Cohen Saturday, July 26, 7 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Proceeds benefit Odonata Ecovilliage Initiative.

Summer food program July 29
The Salvation Army will host a special program allowing all area families with children under the age of 18 to stock up on kid friendly summer food on Tuesday, July 29, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Bring your own large shopping bag and health cards or birth certificates for all your children. Class recognition night July 31
The classes of 1938, 1948, and 1958 will be honored at the annual Class Recognition Night Thursday, July 31, 7 p.m., at Newburyport High School, Clipper Cafe. Roll call will be taken of classes attending and a brief update will be given of the 50, 60 and 70 year classes. This is the most popular of the NHS Alumni Association Events and all NHS alumni and guests are encouraged to attend.

Newburyport High School Class of 1948 will celebrate its 60th reunion on Sept. 20, at the Garrison Inn, Brown Square, Newburyport. YWCA summer programs
Teen Summer Fun: Through Aug. 1, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to noon and 5 to 8 p.m. Enjoy the pool during open swim and work out at the fitness center. Ages 12 through 17.
Lifeguard Training/Waterfront Certification Course: June 26 through Aug. 3, Monday through Friday 5:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Saturday 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Sunday 7:30 a.m. to noon. An American Red Cross Lifeguard Training/Waterfront Certification Course. Prerequisite testing is required, and candidates must be 15 or older upon course completion. $300 for members, $350 for nonmembers. To register, call 978-465-9922.
Water Safety Training Course: Saturday, Aug. 16 and Sunday, Aug. 17; Saturday, Aug. 23 and Sunday, Aug. 24, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. An American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Course. $325 for members, $375 for nonmembers. Register at membership desk.
Scamper Camp: Ages 3 to kindergarten. Four two-week sessions Monday through Thursday 8:45 a.m. to noon. Children will enjoy swim lessons, dancing, movement, fitness, art and science projects. Children must be toilet trained. $200 member cost, $12 per week for Lunch Brunch.
Kid's Club Camp: Ages first grade through fourth. Eight one-week sessions Monday through Thursday 1 to 4 p.m. Children will enjoy swim lessons, open swim, dance, yoga, fun fitness, activity projects and science games. $100 per session, $12 per week for Lunch Brunch.
School's Out: Full day program sessions July 21 through July 24; July 28 through July 31; Aug. 4 through Aug. 7; Aug. 11 through Aug. 14; Aug. 18 through Aug. 21.
The YWCA Greater Newburyport has extended Kids Club House hours, Monday through Friday, 3:30 to 7 p.m.; and Baby-sitting Room hours, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. (for under 6 drop-in care), Monday through Friday, 5 to 7 p.m. (for under 6 drop-in care), Saturday, 9 to 11 a.m. (for under 6 care). Class of '68 reunion extends invitation
The Newburyport High School Class of '68 is extending an invitation to the classes of '67 and '69 to join in an evening of mixing with old friends and dancing. Art Association class registration
Registration for the Newburyport Art Association's new fall studio art classes will begin Tuesday, Sept. 2, and run until each class is full. Classes include all levels of watercolor, drawing, painting, collage, figure sculpture, oil painting and pastel painting. After-school programs are also available to children and teens. The Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts invites all Newburyport girls entering kindergarten through fifth grade to attend a Swim and Dance Event Sunday, Aug. 10, at the Newburyport YWCA. RESTORE, the committee to renovate and upgrade historic World War Memorial Stadium behind Newburyport High School, announces its new Web site, www.restoreourstadium.com.
