NEWBURYPORT

The following items were recorded in the Newburyport police log:

r Austin Costain, 25, 6 Woodman Way, Newburyport; Jonathan Hanks, 262 High St., Newburyport; and Michael Colby, 25, 83 Garden St., West Newbury, were arrested Wednesday at 11:59 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct. Costain was also charged with assault and battery on a police officer and resisting arrest and Hanks was also charged with assault. Sgt. Howard Adams and officers Eric Marshall, Kevin Martin and Dani Michalek made the arrests at the Thirsty Whale.

r Alexandre Novais, 34, 46 Prospect St., Newburyport, was arrested yesterday at 9:06 a.m. on a warrant. Officer Shawn Eaton made the arrest at the police station.

AMESBURY

The following items were recorded in the Amesbury police log:

r Nicholas Keefe, 29, 13 Mason Court, Amesbury, was issued a summons Wednesday at 7 p.m. on charges of possession of a class D substance. Officer Steven Reed issued the summons on High Street.

r Ryan Parenteau, 24, 14 Elizabeth St., Amesbury, was issued a summons Wednesday at 10:37 p.m. on charges of driving without registration and driving without insurance. Officer Reed issued the summons on Main Street.

r Matthew Thonn, 24, 174 Main St., Amesbury, was arrested yesterday at 6:10 a.m. on a warrant. Officer Raymond Landry made the arrest on Main Street.

r Travis Dupree, 24, 7 Macy Terr., Amesbury, was issued a summons yesterday at 9:55 a.m. on charges of parking an unregistered and uninsured car on a public way. Officer Glenn Chaput issued the summons on Main Street.

r Jean Sampson, 45, 14 Lafayette Court, Newburyport, was arrested yesterday at 10:59 a.m. on two warrants. Officer Larry Bybee made the arrest on High Street.

SALISBURY

The following items were recorded in the Salisbury police log:

r James Cassell, 34, 285 North End Blvd., Salisbury, was arrested Wednesday at 9:29 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, failing to submit to police, speeding and resisting arrest. The arrest was made on North End Boulevard.

r Matthew Chryst, 27, 1350 Elm St., Leominster, was issued a summons yesterday at 4:48 p.m. on charges of driving without a license. Officer Timothy Hunter issued the summons on North End Boulevard.

GEORGETOWN

The following item was recorded in the Georgetown police log:

r Brandon Bordonaro, 19, 504 North St., Georgetown, was arrested yesterday at 1:58 a.m. and charged with failing to stop for police, speeding and resisting arrest. Officer Scott Hatch made the arrest on North Street.

STATE POLICE

The following items were recorded in the state police log, Newbury barracks:

r Alexander Ebert, 22, 1403 Alyssa Drive, Groveland, was arrested Wednesday at 11:16 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, two counts of assault and battery on a police officer, driving with an open container, speeding and resisting arrest. Trooper Sean McGary made the arrest in Georgetown.

r Rene Bouchie, 43, 1 Crawford Pines, Bartlett, N.H., was issued a summons yesterday at 1:45 p.m. on charges of negligent driving, driving without a seat belt, speeding and a marked lanes violation. Trooper Michael Provost issued the summons in Newbury.

WEST NEWBURY

The following item was recorded in the Salisbury police log:

r Elisa Porrazzo, 42, 136 Main St., West Newbury, was issued a summons yesterday at 8:33 a.m. on charges of driving without a license. Sgt. Dan Cena and Officer James Riley issued the summons on Main Street.
