Caitlin McGarigal, 20, 379 Leverett Road, Shutesbury, was issued a summons Monday at 6:06 p.m. on charges of shoplifting by concealing merchandise. Officer Richard Rocco issued the summons on Storey Avenue.
NEWBURY
The following item was recorded in the log of the Newbury police:
Robert R. Bateman, 28, 4 Cote Circle, Raymond, N.H., was arrested yesterday at 1:19 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol (second offense), driving without a license and marked lanes violation. Officer Stephen Smith made the arrest on the Newburyport Turnpike.
