By Dan Atkinson
Staff Writer

SALISBURY — Five people were injured after a car crashed into the left guardrail on Interstate 95 northbound yesterday afternoon, but no one was seriously hurt, according to state troopers.

About 4:30 p.m., a 2000 Subaru Legacy veered into the guardrail north of the Interstate 495 on-ramp, troopers said. One occupant had to be removed from the vehicle with the Jaws of Life.

Police are still investigating the accident. Sean Robare, 20, of Brentwood, N.H., was cited for a marked lanes violation, according to state police. Robare, Corey Robare, 24, and Ronald Pilotte, 39, were taken to Anna Jaques Hospital, and Thomas Duffy, 33, and Leroy Smith, 42, were taken to Portsmouth Regional Hospital. All suffered minor injuries.
