BYFIELD — Pine Island Music will hold its fourth and final Summer Jam Concert at the Newbury Town Library, Lunt Street, on Saturday at 2 p.m.
The live jam concert is the highlight of the week for students who have been creating and playing music in a Summer Jam session at the studio.
Seven young musicians between the ages of 10 and 15 who have never played together until this week but who share a love of music will perform. With their performances of both original and well-known rock tunes, the featured musicians enjoy jamming and showcasing their music. The talent rundown includes:
Ryan Mulkerin on electric guitar, Kyle Mulkerin on drums, both of Ipswich; Newburyport resident Connor Jednak on guitar; Chris O'Keefe of Amesbury on guitar; Luke Packer of Byfield on guitar; Wenham resident John Caves on drums, and Katie Marinelli of Lawrence on guitar and vocals.
The concert is free and open to the public.
