NEWBURYPORT: The following cases were recorded on Monday, July 28, in Newburyport District Court. Judge Allen Swan presided over the following jury-waived cases:

Cheryl Burke, 27, 12 Hyde St., Malden; failure to attend jury duty, dismissed (Jury Commissioner).

Lily J. Morency, 18, 108B Main St., Plaistow, N.H.; negligent driving, continued without finding for six months, sentenced to six months probation, ordered to attend State Courts Against Road Rage (SCARR) program, assessed $250 for the Head Injury Fund (HIF), $200 costs, $50 for the state Victim/Witness Fund (VWF); speeding, found responsible, assessed $300; failure to wear a seat belt, found responsible, filed; failure to keep right, found not responsible (State).

Barry J. Monaghan, 35, 14 Jak-Len Drive, Salisbury; domestic assault and battery, placed on six months' pre-trial probation, ordered not to abuse the victim (Salisbury).

Scott M. Bailey, 48, 905 Second Crown Point Road, Strafford, N.H.; driving after license suspension, continued generally for six months, placed on six months' pre-trial probation; left lane violation, found responsible, filed (State).
