Police Logs

NEWBURYPORT

The following items were recorded in the Newburyport police log:

r Wilson Maciel, 30, of 55 Turkey Hill Road, Newburyport, was issued a summons Saturday at 12:24 a.m. for driving without a license. Officer Charles Vorderis issued the summons on Pond Street.

r David Ritchie, 21, of 63 Revere St., Gloucester, was issued a summons yesterday at 1:20 a.m. for reckless driving, failing to stop for police and failing to stop at a stop sign. Sgt. Alan Maguire and officer Eric Marshall issued the summons on Green Street.

r Mark Blanchard, 50, of 6 Home St., Lawrence, was arrested yesterday at 10:46 a.m. on a warrant. Officers Shaun Eaton and Robert Vatcher made the arrest on Merrimac Street.

AMESBURY

The following items were recorded in the Amesbury police log:

r Robyn Maker, 32, of 30 Grove St., Topsfield, was arrested Saturday at 1:02 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol and a marked lanes violation. Officer David Noyes made the arrest on Elm Street.

r Nicholas Geanoulis, 20, of 96 High St., Amesbury, and Joshua Frappier, 20, of 125 Main St., Amesbury, were arrested Sunday at 3:20 a.m. and charged with underage possession of alcohol. Geanoulis was also charged with possession of a class D substance and a marked lanes violation. Noyes made the arrest on Market Street.

r Police placed four people into protective custody over the weekend.

SALISBURY

The following items were recorded in the Salisbury police log:

r Ashley Hartford, 24, of 75 North End Blvd., Salisbury, was arrested Saturday at 12:44 a.m. and charged with assault and battery on a police officer and resisting arrest, and Kelly Welch, 35, of 56 Vineyard Drive, Stratham, N.H., and Charles Hanson, 32, of 11 Elephant Rock Road, Seabrook, were issued summonses for assault and battery. Hartford was also issued a summons for two counts of assault and battery and malicious destruction of property. Sgt. Eugene Scione and officers David Delling and Robert Ferullo made the arrest and issued the summonses at the Hobo Cafe.

r Jeff Ray, 38, of 108 Lafayette Road, Salisbury, was issued a summons Saturday at 4:01 p.m. for driving without registration, driving without insurance and driving without an inspection sticker. Officer Timothy Hunter issued the summons on Lafaytte Road.

r Angela Berry, 30, of 21 Railroad Ave., Danville, Conn., was arrested Saturday at 5:21 p.m. and charged with domestic assault and battery, and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (car door). Chief David L'Esperance, Hunter and officer Craig Lesage made the arrest on Lafayette Road.

r Adam Mathieu, 27, of 73 North End Blvd., Salisbury, was arrested Saturday at 7:39 p.m. and charged with assault and battery on a police officer, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. L'Esperance, Sgt. Robert Roy and Hunter and Lesage made the arrest on North End Boulevard.

r Briar Pare, 22, of 19 L St., Hampton, N.H., and Adam Federico, 29, 52 White St., East Boston, were issued summonses Saturday at 9 p.m. for possession of a class A substance and being present where heroin is kept. Roy and Lesage issued the summonses on Beach Road.

r Kevin Lemieux, 34, of 84 Arlington St., Haverhill, was arrested yesterday at 4:44 a.m. and charged with possession of a class D substance and a warrant. Scione, Hunter and officer Patrick Szymkowski made the arrest on North End Boulevard.

r Police placed two people into protective custody over the weekend.
