Local on Hilton's show

Brittany Flickinger, a former Amesbury resident and daughter of former Municipal Councilor Alison Lindstrom, will make her reality television debut within the coming weeks.

She will appear alongside 15 other hopefuls vying for a chance to become Paris Hilton's new best friend. The heiress boasts numerous past best friends including Lindsay Lohan, Nicole Richie and Tara Reid.

The season premiere of "Paris Hilton's My BFF" will air Sept. 30 at 10 p.m. on MTV.

Flickinger was featured briefly in the trailer for the show's debut, listening to Hilton's voice through a cell phone in a limousine full of contestants. The trailer can now be previewed online at www.mtv.com and is also featured in commercials on the station.
