Salisbury Town Notebook

Town Meeting will be held tonight at 7:30 at Salisbury Elementary School with a number of important issues on the 29-article warrant.

According to Town Manager Neil Harrington, among the most important articles are recommendations to restore more than $200,000 to the Stabilization Fund, and to revise the town budget by cutting an additional $174,000, due to declining revenues.

Copies of the warrant are posted in Town Hall and the library and are available on the town's Web site at www.salisburyma.gov.

Those attending Town Meeting have a chance to help those who are suffering from the poor economy by bringing a non-perishable food, personal or cleaning item to the meeting for Pettengill House's Food Pantry.
