Bill Plante, the former Daily News executive editor and longtime columnist, will be honored by having the Hay Street Bridge in Newbury dedicated in his name in a ceremony at 10:30 a.m. Plante, 88, has lived at 20 Hay St. since 1952 in a house he built himself.
