Leon Friedman, 74, 525 Main St., Amesbury, was issued a summons Monday at 7:27 p.m. on a charge of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Officer Jason Kooken issued the summons on Main Street.

Toibio Gonzalez, 37, 82 Portland St., Haverhill, was issued a summons yesterday on a charge of driving without a license. Officer Eric Forni issued the summons on Route 113.
NEWBURY
The following item was recorded in the log of the Newbury police:
Stanley A. Hull III, 59, 123 Freedom Point Road, Freedom, N.H., was arrested Monday at 8 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol and failure to wear a seat belt. Officer Mark Smigielski made the arrest on High Road.
