Police logs

NEWBURYPORT

The following items were recorded in the log of the Newburyport police:

Adam C. Hernandez, 23, 6 Caltha Road, Brighton, was issued a summons Friday at 8:43 p.m. on charges of driving after license suspension (subsequent offense), driving uninsured, driving with a revoked registration and equipment violation. Officer Shawn Eaton issued the summons on Doe Run Drive.

Douglas Conejo, 18, Fair Street, Newburyport, was arrested Friday at 10:59 p.m. and charged with driving without a license, negligent driving, one-way street violation and seat belt violation. Officer Eaton, Sgt. Alan Maguire and officer Edward Rice made the arrest on Center Street.

Francisco Lopes, 53, 23 Summer St., Dorchester, was issued a summons Saturday at 11:32 a.m. on a charge of assault and battery. Officer Joshua Tierney issued the summons on Green Street.

Clayton Colpitts, 47, 20 Elm Park, Groveland, was issued a summons Saturday at 3:17 p.m. on charges of driving without a license and not having an inspection sticker. Officer Tierney issued the summons on Storey Avenue.

Paul F. Davichik, 44, 11 Charter St., Newburyport, and Jared T. McCraine, 25, 37 Washington St., Newburyport, were arrested Saturday at 6:41 p.m. Davichik was charged with domestic assault and battery and domestic assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. McCraine was arrested on a warrant. Officers Mike McGinnis, Ronald Senter and Sgt. Thomas Cappelluzzo made the arrests on Low Street.

Peter Bontos, 22, 10 Overlook Trail, Danvers, was arrested yesterday at 2:34 p.m. and charged with driving after license suspension. Officer Charles Voderis and Eaton made the arrest on North Atkinson Street.

NEWBURY

The following items were recorded in the log of the Newbury police:

Jessica L. Mallette, 32, 37 Topsfield Road, Ipswich, was arrested Saturday at 1:29 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol and marked lanes violation. Sgt. Lawrence Kent made the arrest on the Newburyport Turnpike.

Patrick Francis Comparone, 20, 184 North End Blvd., Salisbury, was arrested Sunday at 6:24 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of drugs and reckless driving. Officer Stephen May made the arrest in the MBTA commuter lot.

STATE POLICE

The following items were recorded in the log of the state police, Newbury barracks:

Ryan S. Herling, 23, 16 Bonid Road, Stoneham, was arrested Saturday at 1:45 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, improper operation and equipment violation. Trooper Michael Topping made the arrest in Boxford.

Fernando Burgers, 29, 210 Maverick St., East Boston, was issued a summons Sunday at 5:10 a.m. on a charge of driving without a license. Trooper Heather Smolinsky issued the summons in Boxford.

Phillip Ragusa, 51, 2 High St., Stoneham, was arrested Sunday at 7:40 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol (third offense), threat to commit a crime and marked lanes violation. Trooper Nangle made the arrest in Newbury.

Paul Smith, 20, 4 Broadway, Ipswich, was issued a summons Sunday on charges of driving after license suspension and following too closely. Trooper O'Connell issued the summons in Haverhill.

WEST NEWBURY

The following item was recorded in the log of the West Newbury police:

Christopher Wells, 40, 17 Centerville Drive, Salem, N.H., was issued a summons Friday at 3:57 p.m. on charges of driving without a license and driving uninsured. Officer Barry Coker issued the summons on Main Street.

AMESBURY

The following item was recorded in the log of the Amesbury police:

Stephanie A Bouffard, 30, 56 Sparhawk St., Amesbury, was issued a summons Saturday at 11:51 p.m. on a charge of driving after license suspension. Officer Steven Reed issued the summons on Main Street.

ROWLEY

The following item was recorded in the log of the Rowley police:

Belle C. Struck, 33, 1 Elm St., Byfield, was issued a summons Friday at 11:41 p.m. on a charge of driving with a suspended license on Central Street.
