We would like to thank those who contributed to the Post Office Food Drive this past weekend. And a huge thank you to the mail carriers who picked up and delivered the food to The Salvation Army.
From January through April of this year we have provided 7,425 meals through our Food Pantry as well as serving 1,815 hot meals. During the same period last year we served 5,505 and 1,565, respectively.
The numbers will only increase as the economy remains in the state it is in. The food received from this past weekend's drive will help feed many families and individuals. On their behalf ... thank you.
