Senior Sean Hickman (907, center) of Newburyport High School leads a pack of runners including teammate Chris Jayne (right, 908) through a puddle near the 2-mile mark in the MIAA Eastern Mass Division 4 Cross Country Championships at Franklin Park in Boston. The Newburyport harriers finished in second place to qualify for the All-State Championships next Saturday.
