Triton stays alive for tournament

Maxine Crossman had her second straight double-double with 13 points and 14 rebounds as Triton (8-10) beat Amesbury to stay alive for the state tournament. Jessica Cannon also played one of her best games of the year for the Vikings to get her first double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds, and Alyssa Conley had 10 points.

Pentucket 64, Newburyport 32

Ashley Viselli (6 thee-pointers) and Erin McNamara (5 three-pointers) each had big nights with 22 and 21 points, respectively for Pentucket. Sam Leahy led Newburyport with 11 points, and Sam Baribeault had nine points.
