Girls Lacrosse Manchester Essex 13, Georgetown 8 Tied 6-6 at half, Georgetown coach Heather Hartford said her team looked flat, and Manchester Essex's transition game took advantage, outscoring the Royals 7-2 in the second half. Shannon Hartford had three goals and one assist. Kim Powers, Emma Cannon, Katherine Falzareno, Alyssa Rosenthal and Robyn Scotti all had one goal each. Baseball Amesbury 6, Lynnfield 1 Mike Corrigan earned the complete-game victory for the Indians (3-9). Steve Serwon hit a three-run home run. David Smith was 1 for 3 with a run scored. Third baseman Nick Slevoski initiated Amesbury's first double play of the season.
