It was really by fluke that the Royals stumbled upon Block's brilliance in goal this season. At the start of preseason, last year's keeper Pauline Reilly, now a senior, did not return to the team for personal reasons, leaving a gaping hole in the Georgetown starting 11 with no clear goal-keeping candidate on the roster to replace her. ]]></description>
