Lea Tomasz led the Clippers (8-2-2) with two goals. Kate McCauley, Kate Filipancic and Caroline Marino also scored goals. Marie Cahalane had two assists. Paige Hefferan had one.

Pentucket 3, Amesbury 0

Audra St. Hillair, Ellen Gulezian and Olivia Duggan scored goals for Pentucket (7-4-1). Angelica Arrendondo had an assist. For Amesbury (3-6-2), goaltender Cassie Schultz made 28 saves.

Girls Cross Country

Pentucket 22, Amesbury 35

Marissa Porter placed first for Pentucket, finishing in 19:34 at Woodsom Farm. Kasey Mann (3rd, 19:59), Jordan Balletto (5th, 20:43), Emma Marchant (6th, 20:45) and Breanna Repke (7th, 20:47) also contributed to the Pentucket win. Amesbury’s Renee Vignault placed second in 19:39. Samantha Stone (4th, 20:42), Abby Tamburello (8th, 22:48) and Morgan Fahey (9th, 23:00) rounded out the scoring.

Boys Cross Country

Pentucket 17, Amesbury 42

Pentucket improved to 5-0 thanks in part to the top finish by Alex Demeule (17:09). Ian Mitchell (2nd, 17:10), Cooper Carifio (3rd, 17:15), Drew Capener (4th, 17:16), Joe Lebrecque (7th, 17:51), Jeremy Binding (8th, 17:53) and Alan Barlow (9th, 17:57) rounded out Pentucket’s top seven finishers. Amesbury’s Liam Gallagher (5th, 17:37), Austin Parker (6th, 17:44), Riley O’Connor (10th, 18:15) finished in the top 10.


Pentucket 129, Marblehead 124

Krystal Knight led Pentucket (7-6) with 25 points at Haverhill Country Club. Jon Sirois (23 points), C.J. Ingraham (22), Jeff Funk (21) and Tom Pingree (21) also contributed for the Sachems.

Newburyport 142,

Hamilton-Wenham 132

Newburyport’s Brendan Crowther was the medalist for the match with 36 points at Myopia Golf Course. Kyle Bushnell (29), George Pantelis (23) and Ben Ventura (22) also posted scores above 20.
