The Clippers (6-7) won their fifth match in a row and sixth out of the last seven. Brendan Crowther led Newburyport with 30 quota points. Ben Ventura (24), Kyle Bushnell (23) and Mike Sweeney (21) also paced Newburyport. Pentucket (7-7) was led by Krystal Knight, who had 25 points. C.J. Ingraham (23) and Jeff Funk (20) also contributed.
Jon Seward had 32 points for Triton (11-5) at Ould Newbury. Jack Cook (25) and Kyle Hillick (25) also contributed for the Vikings.
Pentucket 8, Amesbury 1
Jake Chory and Zack Bartula scored two goals each for the Sachems (9-1-2). Brendan Sullivan, Davis Miller, Matt Farrell and Trevor Collins also scored goals for Pentucket. Farrell, Miller, Mike Falmonsen, David Bacharach, Sean Keegan, Ben Craig and Connor Beaton had assists. Amesbury’s Mike Gilday scored a goal.
Georgetown 3, Triton 0
John Laut had a goal and an assist for Georgetown (5-4-3). Jared Warren and Chris Chiklakis also scored goals. Gus Savage made two saves for the Royals.
Maryam Moshrefi and Shannon Pinkham scored goals for the Clippers (10-1-1). Jaycie Triandafilou had two assists. Pinkham’s game-winner was “the biggest goal of the year so far,” according to Newburyport coach Kevin Sheridan.
Amesbury 4, Pentucket 1
Madison MacLean had a goal and two assists for Amesbury (10-0-2). Janine Fatal and Megan Cullen had a goal and an assist each for the Indians. Emily Martin scored a goal. Sarah Abraham made four saves for Indians. Pentucket senior Alex Moore scored on a penalty shot late in the first half. Sam Bomba made six saves for the Sachems (1-8-3).
