Newburyport girls varsity basketball game rescheduled

Girls Basketball

Tonight’s Newburyport girls varsity basketball game against Saugus has been rescheduled to next Tuesday at 5 p.m. at Saugus and will be played as part of a double header with the boys basketball team, who will play following the conclusion of the girls game at 6:30 p.m.

Newburyport Athletic Director Bob Clarke said the change was made to help accommodate a scheduling issue for Saugus, and that the freshman and JV teams will play tonight at their regularly scheduled time.
