Derek Chamberlain also performed well and was the runner-up at 195 pounds. Chamberlain went 2-1 on the day and improved his season record to 30-8. Matt Carey finished in third place at 170 pounds and finished 17-7 on the season. Mark Mansfield went 2-2 on the day and placed fourth at 126 pounds.

All three have advanced to the Division 3 State Tournament next Friday and Saturday.

Carsten LaPlante finished 2-2 on the day at fifth place at 113 pounds. Senior Captain Mike Gallanar rebounded from an opening round loss to capture fifth place at 145 pounds and got his 100th career victory in the process while finishing the season with a 30-13 record.

LaPlante and Gallanar are alternatives for the state tournament.
