Girls Basketball

Pentucket 73, Saugus 25

Pentucket blew away Saugus High School to improve their record to 12-3 and their winning streak to 11 games. Leading the Sachems in their great scoring night was Kelsi McNamara with 14 points, followed by Boo Torrisi and Riley Holden, each with nine points.

Next for Pentucket is the matchup of the year in Cape Ann League girls basketball, as 13-0 Masconomet travels to West Newbury to take on Pentucket on Monday night.

Boys Ice Hockey

Amesbury 3, Pentucket 0

Amesbury recorded its second straight shutout, third on the season against the Sachems last night. With the win, Amesbury improves to 8-3 on the season while Pentucket falls to 5-7.

Next up for the Indians is Saugus High School tomorrow at 5:20 p.m. at the Valley Forum in Haverhill.
