Newburyport Boys Basketball Association tournament results

Monday

5th/6th grade division: The Lakers defeated the Rockets 31-28, thanks in large part to a team-leading 12 points from Brendan Kealey.

7th/8th grade division: The 76ers beat the Bulls 55-38 behind a 19-point effort by Kyle Menard.

Tuesday

5th/6th grade division: The Timberwolves defeated the Clippers 22-11. Andrew Goodwin was the leading scorer for the Timberwolves with 8 points.

7th/8th grade division: The Celtics topped the Mavericks 44-32 led by Noah Gillingham’s 18 points.

Wednesday

5th/6th grade division: The Spurs beat the Timberwolves 18-16. The high scorer for the Spurs was Tommy Jahn with 5 points.

7th/8th grade division: The 76ers knocked off the Knicks 61-57, led by Ashton Clarke’s 16 points.

Thursday

5th/6th grade division: The Warriors beat the Lakers 27-24. The Warriors’ leading scorer was John Morris, and Aidan Emerton was high scorer for the Lakers.

7th/8th grade division: Tristan Cassidy led the Heat to a close 36-32 victory over the Celtics.
